8 BaltCoast Recommendations on ICZM ICZM is the responsibility of political bodies of all levels Do not create new ICZM specific institutions Cross-sectoral agencies at regional level should take the lead for implementation Link regional approach with case-specific solutions The focus should be on implementation and visible results
