7 Akcakoca District Pilot Project (Turkey - Black Sea ) its included the following stages: - data collection; - database for spatial data; - GIS map (environmental land-use and socio-economic data); - conflicting uses; - develop means of prioritising uses based on analysis of natural and economic resources and land-use features; - functional land-use zones using primary information and evaluating of conflicting land-uses; - stakeholders consultation in fine tuning land-use plans. 8 ICZM components of the new EuropeAid project Environmental Collaboration for the Black Sea – Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine Objectives: - Dissemination and promote ICZM strategies via media and publicity campaigns; - support strategy implementation process via exchange of experience; - pilot project implementation.
