3 Dysgraphia  Using computer  Use oral exams  Use of tape recorder for lectures  Provide notes or outlines to reduce writing  Provide alternatives to written assignments

4 Auditory Processing Disorder  Show rather than explain  Supplement explanations with visual cues, handouts and/or manipulatives  Vary pitch and tone of voice, change pace of speech, stress key words  Ask comprehension questions  Allow for think time  Ask student to recap, verbalize learnings

5 Language Processing Disorder (difficult to attach meaning to sounds that form words, sentences & stories)  Speak slowly and clearly  Write main concepts on board  Use visual aids  Use graphic organizers for note taking  Use questions to draw out details
