2. My name is Sir Francis Drake. I am from England. I sailed the first English fleet around the world. I was second in command of the Spanish Armada. I was also awarded knighthood by queen Elizabeth one herself. I have been around the world and to San Puerto Rico. My travel dates are 1577-1580 and 1588.

3. Vasco Nunez De Balboa My name is Vasco Nunez De Balboa. I was a stowaway on Ensico’s ship. By 1513 I was in command of the ship and sent Enciso home in chains, which was a mistake. I then established the first permanent European settlement in the New World. I led my men to the Pacific Ocean and back through thick jungles and not a single man died. I also discovered and named the Pacific Ocean after pacifica, which means peaceful or calm. Back in England, Enciso was hungry for revenge. He accused me of falsely of treason and got me beheaded. I have been to South America, Panama, Pacific Ocean, Santa Maria la Antigua Del Darien, the Americas, and Hispaniola. My travel date is 1513.

4. Fernando De Soto My name is Fernando De Soto. I am from Spain. I discovered the Mississippi and was a chief hero in battle. I returned to Spain with lots of wealth and was made governor of Cuba. I have been to Central America, Peru, Cuzco, Florida, Mexico, Cuba, Tampa Bay, Tallahassee, and Georgia. My travel dates are 1538, 1539, and 1541.

5. Captain James Cook My name is Captain James Cook. I am from Britain. I have charted a numerous amount of islands and was able to lead men in adverse conditions. I have been to New Foundland, the Pacific Ocean, Australia, the Hawaiian Islands, New Zealand, Quebec, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Arctic Circle. My travel dates are 1755 and 1766.
