2 The Heart of Essex: From White Notley to the North Blackwater This Synod/Standing Committee commends the conversations occurring amongst the parishes of Gt Totham, Lt Totham, Goldhanger, Tollesbury, Salcott Virley, Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Tolleshunt Major, Fingringhoe, East Donyland (Rowhedge), Abberton w Langenhoe, Peldon, Gt & Lt Wigborough, West Mersea, East Mersea. These recognise the future close association of the parishes of: Gt Totham, Lt Totham, Goldhanger, Tollesbury, Salcott Virley, Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Tolleshunt Major. (Group X) Also the future close association of the parishes of: Fingringhoe, East Donyland (Rowhedge), Abberton w Langenhoe, Peldon, Gt & Lt Wigborough, West Mersea, East Mersea. (Group Y) Whilst neither represents an agreed complete Mission and Ministry Unit they do represent agreed building blocks of ministry. *In the short term we encourage them to investigate changes in patterns of ministry that will enable mission and ministry to thrive and grow. *Further we envisage that informal arrangements might be put in place to test out the viability of models of ministry that might, in the future, be formalised. *We encourage these conversations to include consideration of how Group X and Group Y might support each other.

Scheme collects gift aid within 10 days, and then passes the gross amount to the parish. Options for automatic inflation increases Administration centralised Anonymity option available Important to take initiative to increase giving when switching over (but this can cut both ways) 3 diocese have found that PGS giving 60-90% higher than non-PGS giving
