7  Each National Member Organization (NMO) nominates one representative to IIASA Council  The Council establishes relations with governments and multinational bodies; sets financial and managerial policies and subject areas for research; organizes peer review using Evaluation Committees per theme  The Institute’s Directorate (Director and Deputy Director) formulate and manage IIASA activities  Science Advisory Committee and Internal Research Committee advise on future programs and projects Governance
