3 WHO THEY WERE ClickClick for main pageformainpage Most people think that the Vikings had horns on their helmets but they didn’t. They wore helmets and felt or cotton clothes with armour. They were tall hairy savages. They were Pagan not Christian and attacked monasteries because they couldn’t defend themselves as the monks were peaceful.
