3 Size, Location and Weather Located in a strategic area in the northern half of Spain, the city has a total of 400,000 inhabitants.Valladolid has a continental Mediterranean climate that, along with its central location on the plateau, brings cold winters, with frequent fog, and very hot and dry summers, with maximum temperatures of about 30°C.
