Comprehensive international programme with students from Asia, South America and Europe. Papakura High School Founded in 1954. Surrounded by 14 hectares of park like grounds. Limit for international students of 5% of roll. Large state co-educational school, situated in Papakura, in the south of Auckland. The student roll is approximately 1,330 students. Very popular Auckland school.

Papakura Papakura is a suburb in Auckland. Population of 46,000, just 25 minutes drive from Auckland city centre, 15 mins from Airport. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Close to beaches, cinemas etc. Papakura has an Olympic pool. Many activities for students to do.
What Else Can You Do At Papakura High School? A wide range of co-curricular activities are offered including: Cultural activities such as drama, cultural dance groups, debating, band, choir, theatre sports and music. Sporting activities such as rugby, netball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, hockey, softball, cricket, touch rugby, tennis, swimming, badminton. International students are encouraged to take part.
Students live in a home-stay with NZ family. The student will become part of the family. The student will be able to walk to school or take a short bus journey. Most homes will be a stand alone house with a garden. The student will have their own bedroom similar to this. Helps students to be happy and improve their English. Where Do Students Live?
