1 After Unit Test: 2/11/2015 When you are finished with your test & essay question, turn it in on the little desk Begin working on the cover page for WWI Cover page should include the title of the unit, the years of the war, 2 pictures about the unit and the names of the 2 major alliances (pg. 581) ADD COLOR!!! When you are finished, turn in your notebook & have it open to the warm up page HW for tonight: read pg. 572-575 in textbook

2 World War I (WWI) foldable 3 pieces of paper layer them so that 1/2 inch of each piece shows fold them over so that you have 6 flaps cut in ½ so that you share with your partner staple at the top

14 US Goes TO Europe 1917 Bolshevik Revolution 1917 Bolshevik Revolution – Czar in March 1917, by November, Communists had completely taken over -Vladimir Lenin was the new communist leader of Russia - Lenin withdrew Russian troops from the Eastern front & signed a peace agreement with Central Powers -now the Germans could put all their attention on the Western Front **Before Russia dropped out, Germany was fighting on 2 fronts.

20 Reading/writing assignment Armenian genocide Read the article about Armenia. In your notebook, take notes, write a summary, questions, or opinions about the information. You need 100 words For a long time, Turkey has argued with countries to not call this event a “genocide”. Many countries, including the US, have gone along with their wishes. Turkey provides valuable land for our military access into the Middle East. Turkey wants to boost it’s image and reputation throughout the world.
