2. Introduction YouTube is an incredibly popular website where people can put videos that they have taken and put them online to share with everybody. These vary greatly from video blogs, also known as vlogs, to very entertaining, rehearsed skits. This presentation will instruct a user how to upload a video to YouTube.

3. Step 1: Open your internet browser Step 2: Type www.youtube.com into the address barwww.youtube.com

4. Step 3: Click Sign-In from the YouTube web page. Note: You must have an account with YouTube/Google to upload a video.

5. Step 4: Enter your YouTube or Google account info and click ‘Sign in’

6. Step 5: Once signed in, click ‘Upload’

7. Step 6: From the Video File Upload page, click ‘Upload Video’

8. Step 7: Select a video to upload A window will pop up prompting you to select the video file you wish to upload. This prompt is very similar to your file explorer. Navigate to the location of your video file, select it and click ‘Open’.

9. Step 8: Label Video Upon completion of the upload, a message will appear stating “Your file has been uploaded. We are now processing the video.” You can add the following labels to your video: Title Description, Keywords or “tags”, separated by commas. (these enable your video to be found on if users enters these tags in the YouTube search bar). Category Privacy features

10. Once you have entered labels in the appropriate fields, click the ‘Save changes’ Step 9: Save changes to labels

11. A green message will appear confirming you changes have been saved. A URL to the video is automatically generated. You may view your video by copying that URL and pasting it into the URL bar of your browser. Step 10: Verify changes and note the URL

My video is taking forever to upload Slow internet connection or file is too large Be patient.
