About this course What it’s about: –Purpose: to help students develop a strong conceptual foundation for understanding how to manage technological innovation. –This course is broad in focus and an excellent introduction to more specialized innovation courses. What its NOT about: –Its not about ‘technology’ per se, but the managerial and competitive aspects of technology. –This is not an Information Technology course. –This is not a “guru” course with all the ‘right’ answers!

6. Expectations Active Participation! Preparation time is around 2 hrs/week. –Each week there are readings and cases. –Reading is not enough – you have to think and analyze them. –Do not come unprepared or you will be embarrassed and learn very little. Details about minipapers, group projects and final exams will be given in class.
