2 This program allows Rotarians and their families to visit other Rotarians living in a foreign country, then the receiving home. It allows us to discover other cultures and costumes, make new friends. It also allows us to discover how our profession is practiced in a foreign country. This program allows us to promote cultural diversity and it also offers the possibility of generating activities and international equities.

3 Our district will contact the representative of another Rotary District to organize A statement is made ​​ to all clubs for the distribution of information among members giving all details of the trip, such as dates, country, district, number of couples or members, primary language, estimated cost (normally very advantageous “airplane tickets and insurance "), etc.. A preliminary registration form is sent to clubs which distribute among the members. An end date will be set! Having more entries than places available (as determined by the district receiving), a selection will be made. Once the group is complete, some instructions and meetings will be organized to prepare the journey in order to better enjoy. When returning, friendly workshops will take place.

4 Our district will contact the representative of another Rotary District to organize. A statement is made ​​ to all clubs to disseminate among members giving all details of the group that receives as: dates, country, district, number of couples or visiting members, primary language, etc.. Clubs who sent members will receive at least the group for a day, i.e. Finding members offering their home, make a festive meeting (preferably with spouses) and possibly organize the rest of the day for the group and maybe move to another city to not more than 70 km. It is strongly recommended that meetings be simple, but that standard is adopted, whose word is offered to visitors protocol. (Normally the group leader speaks our language). Normally the “leader" of the district will accompany the group to stay in touch all the time.

5 There is no fee to attend the program. All direct and indirect costs are borne by the participants (those who travel).  Tickets, insurance, ground transportation long distance, etc.. Normally spending club are the costs associated with meeting the reception (welcome) that is available to visitors:  meals;  Rotary gifts offered (banners, pins, flowers, etc.). Normally expenses incurred by members who receive torque are:  Meals at home;  Transports couple to another city (distance not more than 70 km). The receiver club may contribute its own expenses by its members (optional) Costs for the district are those of the organization of the program:  Reproduction of documents (information sheets, letters, banners, etc.).  Phone calls, etc..

6 From July 2014, all presidents and secretaries of the clubs will receive the invitation to the friendly exchange program. The Invitation servers both for sending a member and its respective spouse, as to receive a couple of Rotarians. Our first program will be with District 4480 (within the province of São Paulo, Brazil). My personnal experience……..
