8. 8.Student work must be able to be authenticated; however, remember that at the Certificate III level, students can work unsupervised. Therefore tasks may or may not be separate from normal classroom activities. Tasks can be split across a number of lessons and a number of weeks – they do not need to be done in one hit. 10. The assessor should set appropriate and achievable submission dates If an assessment task is not submitted, a mark of NA should be recorded for that task. Work can be re-submitted to gain competency, but not to increase a study score. Study scores need to be entered into VASS. Authentication Acceptable: incorporation of ideas or material derived from other sources but which has been transformed; prompting and general advice from another person which leads to refinements and/or self-correction.
