22 Directive from Minister of Energy to IESO on new EFW procurement Process A contract term of no more than 20 years Total net contracted capacity cap of 75 megawatts for new- build (not include facilities already operating), EFW projects (landfill gas capture and AD facilities which receive pricing under the FIT program would not be included) Projects must be connected directly to the IESO-controlled grid Program eligibility for new EFW projects including demonstration of municipal support, minimum level of project maturity, and connection availability screening Nominal contract price of 8 cents per kWh with reasonable price escalation, as determined by IESO.
