3 The 2013 Measures of America Tracked youth, ages 17-24 in the 25 largest metropolitan cities addressing the “disconnectedness of youth” youth not in school & unemployed Phoenix was among the top leading cities Question remains? 7 The Teen AA Program Curriculum Teens originated a program that would b e specific to the needs of this population. Addiction redefined as “any habit causing personal success” Emphasis would be on the behavior, not the addiction. The 12 Step Program would provide a thematic structure. Life Challenges would be integrated into the format. Recovery, Time Management, Personal Assessment
