I will focus on the Egyptian Ministry of Youth as a case study. The knowledge learning and development unit is a new unit that can be established in all the ministries in Egypt. The main theme: is the gap between generations - the classical employees and the newly ( recently) hired candidates within the governmental sector in terms of knowledge, experiences and willingness to change and to develop. This process is a 2 ways dimension process. As, the employed candidates will share their experiences and knowledge with the new hired candidates and the other way around, as the new hired will share their knowledge and their willingness to adopt changes with the employed candidates.
