8. The Pampas deer is an endangered and rare species. They are near extinction, the population is under 80,000 in South America. They are reducing in number because there is only 1% of their habitat remaining. The habitats have been taken for agriculture.

9. People impact the grasslands by hunting the large mammals and it has affected the vegetation. The land that has been used for agriculture has been damage due to the over grazing by the livestock.
