Build for success 12 th grade Have college applications selection decided by early fall. APPLY BROADLY! Review plans for college with counselor and family. Be certain you have met all requirements. Keep senior year challenging and maintain a high GPA. Avoid senioritis. File applications on time (CSU Oct 1 to Nov 30. UC Nov 1 to Nov 30. Private schools have later deadlines.) File FAFSA between Jan 1 and March 2. Continue to research and apply for scholarships. Retake any tests that need to be improved in the fall. Get good grades and maintain rigorous schedule!
