11 SEQUENCE OF TEACHING COMPETETIVE SWIMMING STROKES The sequence of the strokes depends upon the individual’s, whatsoever is their preference, their liking which stroke they want to learn or the teacher, coach want to prefer any stroke or technique. Most of the group or individuals want to learn freestyle or front crawl first, back crawl second, breaststroke third and butterfly stroke fourth.
