6. LAUSD ATTENDANCE GOAL The LAUSD Performance Meter Goal is for students to maintain a Proficient/Advanced attendance rate of 96% or higher throughout the school year. This means that students must have: No more than one absence for every five weeks (25 instructional days) of school No more than SEVEN TOTAL absences in the school year
