4 Task You will discover new information about your selected country as you research the following topics: Location and Geography Money and Exchange Rates Landmarks/Monuments/ Places of Interest Products Food/Customs Famous people (optional) Activities and Fun (optional) Find facts for the topics listed. Look for pictures that are related to these topics. You will create a travel brochure about your country. *You will present the travel brochure to the class. You must include your opinion on the country you chose and what you enjoyed the most about your country.

5 Process Step One: Decide which country you want to travel to. Step Two: Research the suggested topics. Some resources are being provided but you can use any other source you need to. Just remember to take notes and record your sources! Step Three: Find pictures, travel hints, and highlights from that country. Step Four: Follow the guidelines in the rubric/checklist. Step Five: Create a travel brochure using the research and pictures. Step Six: Present your travel brochure to the class.

9 You will be doing a lot of research on the country you choose; be sure to choose a country you are interested in! Read the guidelines and understand the expectations in the evaluation (rubric) section before you begin your travel brochure. Remember to take notes on your research, and document your sources for research. Your travel brochure must include pictures. Your travel brochure should be informative, interesting, well- researched, organized, and neat. Have fun, do your best, and enjoy learning about a new Spanish speaking country!

Your travel brochure has helped you organize information, learn research techniques, and improve your writing skills. You have learned about Location, Geography, Money, Natural resources, School, Family, Tourist Attractions, and Food. You have also learned more about technology, the Internet, and the Spanish language! I hope you enjoyed your electronic journey and want to travel more via the Internet.
