There are some things that make me know the Orca whale is a mammal.
An orca whale is warm-blooded. They breathe using lungs. The orca Whale is smooth with a few hairs. It is covered in black and white skin. The orca usually has one baby at a time and the baby is born alive. The mom feeds her baby with mother’s milk.

What an orca whale eats A baby orca drinks its mom’s milk.
The adults eat seals, fish, and sometimes the calves of other whales.

What Orcas Looks Like! The orca whale grows up to 27-33 feet.
The orca whales are the largest member of the dolphin family. The male orca is larger than the female orca. The orca whale has blowholes to breath. The orca’s skin is mostly black.

Facts The male orcas live about 50 to 60 years. Females live about 90 years.

Interesting Facts An orca whale is a toothed whale. Orca whales live in waters around the world. Orca whales live in all of the areas that are red on this map.
