2 Culture Trait  An activity or behavior in which people often take part.

3 Oligarchy  A type of government ran by a small group of people  Example – Communist countries like China

4 Culture Region  The area in which people have many shared culture traits.

5 Fossil Fuels  Non-renewable resources made from the remains of plants and animals.  Coal, Oil, and Gas

6 Cultural Diffusion  The spread of culture traits from one region to another.

7 Population Density  The number of people who live in a square mile

8 Culture Region  An area with similar cultural characteristics like language, religion, economics, food, etc.

9 Autocracy  A type of government run by one person.  Example – Dictatorships like Adolf Hitler

10 Physical Region  An area with similar physical characteristics like mountains, forests, deserts, etc.

11 Cultural Diversity  The state of having a variety of cultures in the same area.

12 Demography  The study of population

13 Monarchy  A type of government in which a person inherits power.

14 Culture  The set of beliefs, values, and practices that a group of people has in common.

15 Recession  A decline in business activity in a country.

16 Representative Democracy  A type of government where the people have the power to make decisions

18 Tariff  Taxes or fees on imports and exports.

20 Under-Develop Country  A country with –a high infant mortality rate –Low GDP –No technology

21 Depression  A drastic decline in business activity.

22 Ethnic Group  A group of people who share a common culture and ancestry.
