If he was given the option to travel to any country in the world, he would select Scotland because of its world renowned golf courses. Golf, being a sport that Barazzuol enjoys is something that he would love to do professionally but because of his lack of ability he is restricted to recreational play with his grandfather during summer months. Sports such as golf and football, have played a pivotal role in his life as he still coaches basketball well beyond his playing days. Coming from an athletic Italian family, his parents often fueled him with a pregame meal of pasta before most sporting events. Although he enjoys Italian cuisine, he has mentioned that the most unusual thing he ever ate was a tuna head on Vancouver Island. As one would notice, travelling, sports and food play crucial roles in the life of Brian Barazzuol, contributing to the individual he has become.
