Speaker: Stuart Klein Executive Director of the University of Florida Proton Therapy Mr. Klein spoke about the Institute and Proton Therapy at the UF World Class facility. Since opening in August 2006, more than 125,000 proton cancer treatments have been delivered to more than 3,700 patients at the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute, ranking the facility among the top 10 proton therapy centers worldwide for number of patients treated. Thank you, Mr. Klein, for your very informative presentation. Florida Governor Allen Whetsell’s Slogan: “REACH FOR THE RAINBOW! MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE!” John Bates read at the Navy Child Development Center on September 25 th, to all three classes - a full house. I want to thank all of you for attending our club's 66th annual installation dinner. It was a wonderful evening, and I want to congratulate Lal, JuliAnn and Nancy on their induction as our officers for next year. And congratulations as well to the six board members: John, Jane, Bill, Bill, Paula and Walt. I know you will have an effective and successful year!
