1 Quick Start Guide Assisted Registration Tool Pt.1 What you need to do before using the Assisted Registration Tool Version 1 Authored by Dan Kyr -All information correct as of 14 th February 2013

2 Stop!!!!! Do you have an assisted registration form completed for your client? If no please refer to the following webpage http://www.ehealth.gov.au/internet/ehealth/publishing.nsf/content/assist edreg_05 http://www.ehealth.gov.au/internet/ehealth/publishing.nsf/content/assist edreg_05

4 Select the forms required for either Adult or Child. Also print and read the Resources.

5 Once you have a completed form you can continue onto the ART

6 First launch the ART from your desktop

7 This screen should appear

8 Make sure that you click on the top tab titled “Application Configuration/Diagnostic”.

9 If this is the first time you have used this tool you must click on Browse HPIO Certificate

10 Then this selection box appears

11 Browse to your HPIO.p12 Certificate (ask IT if you don’t know location). Select and press Open

12 Now you should be back at the main screen

13 This section will be now filled in

14 Next we must add your NASH certificate number (Ask IT or your manager if you do not know it).

15 Select Application User type. (If you do not have a HIP-I please select Local System Identifier).

16 What is a Local systems identifier? The local system identifier is how you would identify yourself to your organisation in the event that Human services needs to Audit who did the assisted registration

17 Next fill out all of your details in the remaining boxes

18 What are they Application user id – Do you have a logon in your organisation i.e. reception01 Application user role – What is your role in the organisation i.e. receptionist, nurse etc. Application user name – Your Name i.e. Jane Smith

19 After you are done click “Apply Settings” and you should see this screen

20 Note that if you put the Certificate code in correctly you should see your organisation’s name appear

21 Now test that you are connected to the system by clicking on the Connect Button

22 If it was all correct then you will see the following appear

23 You are now ready to register using the ART. Note that the ART tool will keep all of your details until you shut it down. If you shut down the ART then you must complete this process again.

24 Next Package Using the A.R.T. to register your client for an Ehealth Record
