1 Description There are about 326 million cubic miles(1.4 billion cubic kilometres) of water on earth. There are over a million (1,000,000,000,000) gallons of water per cubic mile. About 75% of the water we use is ocean water.

3 Landform: Sea Otter/Spiny Dogfish
The sea otter mostly lives in brackish water. Some live in a protected body of fresh water. They live in the Northern shores of the Pacific Ocean. The Spiny Dogfish is in a class called,Chonuchthyes. It can live up to 260 years old. Their habitat is in the wetlands,and Pacific and Atlantic Ocean.

Water spiders live at the top of muddy ponds. It lives on sea weed. It eats what is in it’s habitat,such as fish. Salamanders live in swamp areas. They sometimes stay in the Eastern U.S.

5 Laughing Gull The laughing Gull feeds on rotting fish.
Gulls, which eat almost any garbage,help keep beaches and harbors clean. The Laughing Gulls scientific name is the Larose Atricilla.

6 Laughing Gull Laughing Gulls can grow up to be 15 ½ to 17 inches(39 to 43 centimeters.) The laughing gull builds it’s nest about 5 to 6 inches off the ground in very tall trees. Their natural predator is the house sparrow.

7 Spiny Dogfish Type of shark In the class of the Chondrichthyes.
The cartilaginous vertebrae constructs the notochord. True jaws,five pairs of gills arches, and cartilaginous ribs. They are fish.

On the paired fins, there are horny rays. The spiny dogfish is torpedo-shaped. The spiny dogfish is a cold-blooded aquatic animal with back bones,gills,and fins. Much variation in shape of the spiny dogfish occurs,from flattened and rounded, as in flounders,to vertical and angular, as in sea horses.

9 Spiny Dogfish The spiny dogfish does not lay eggs at all.
Their habitat is in the wetlands. The spiny dogfishes biggest predator is the lamprey. If the spiny dogfish sees the lamprey it will go into hiding. The lamprey is more scared of the spiny dogfish. You can find the spiny dogfish in the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. Spiny Dogfish

10 Sea Otters Sea otters are furry animals that live in the north pacific ocean. Herds of sea otters dwell near the shores of western north America and Siberia. They seldom leave the water.

11 Sea otters Sea otters have flipper shaped hind feet as paddles.
It eats and sleeps on it’s back. Sea otters live in masses of floating sea weed. The female carries the baby on her chest.

They have airtight silk nests called diving bells. They are arachnids. Only 500 specifies.

13 Water Spider They live in stagnant water.
They live in seaweed and algae. 32% of rain and 80 degrees farinhight.

14 Water Spider They eat small insects that blow in the water.

15 Salamander They eat at night. They live for 1 to 60 years.
There hind legs have 5 toes. They live in swamp areas.

16 Salamander They are amphibians that can grow up to 70 inches.
Salamanders have gills and 4 legs. Their wet skin is toxic. They sometimes stay in the eastern U.S. They have gills and are aquatic. There are 500 species.
