SchoolView Bell & PA  A complete Bell & PA Solution on a single IP network with a simple graphical interface  Built around the Audio Only Software which includes:  Bell  Clock  PA / Intercom System  Remote Audio Broadcast  Background Music  Security Camera Interface  Enhanced Telephone Interface for remote management  Custom map of each school for simple zone management  Upgrade system from one way to two way with simple firmware upgrade 6

Product Overview: Admin Touch Panel  The Admin Touch Panel is the Command Center for the entire system  Generally located in the Administration or Front Office of the School  From this graphic interface all systems can be modified, managed and controlled  All systems share a common interface making it easier to train the entire office staff and lower the cost of support  Wall Mount or Table Top options are available  The Touch Panel features intuitive UI functionality including: gesturing, swiping, dynamic reordering and enhanced animation capabilities  There is a rack of equipment that supports the entire system, but it is usually located in an equipment closet, out of sight. 7

Feature Overview: Bells 8

Graphical Interface which allows for a custom map of your school  Allows easy zoning of bells including use of groups for fast zoning  Easy to entire staff to learn and use  Drill down to each class individually or select the entire school with a single button push  Zones are created and managed by the end user and can be modified simply by the touch of the screen  Color coded  Green – ON  Red – Off  Purple – the zone has rooms both on and off 9

Feature Overview: Bells All Bells are MP3  Bells now sound like whatever you want them to.  Can be modified for special events like holidays, special events, college week, etc. Create the environment you want.  Bell lengths and the number of bell options are virtually unlimited Manual Events  Pre-determined (by the user) these sounds can be activated by a simple button push when needed 10

Feature Overview: Bells 12 Month Rolling Calendar  Create as many daily schedules as you need so that you can easily set your year long calendar before the school year starts.  Modify on the fly if needed.  Never have to remember to change the schedule for a special day if you’ve already built it into the calendar. 11

Feature Overview: Clocks Clock Interface  Use lower cost RS-232 Clocks instead of IP clocks  Does not require additional network drops  Does not require more network switches  Time is still supplied from network time server  Add a run of clocks in a remote building from a single network drop instead of 1 per clock  Clocks Still Operate if Power is Out or Network is down 12

Feature Overview: Paging 13

Feature Overview: Paging / Intercom Graphical Interface which allows for a custom map of your school  Allows easy zoning of PA including use of groups for fast zoning  Easy to entire staff to learn and use  Drill down to each class individually or select the entire school with a single button push  Zones are created and managed by the end user and can be modified simply by the touch of the screen  Color coded  Build as many pre-set zones as you like which will appear on the panel for quick access (see previous slide) 14

Feature Overview: Paging / Intercom  Paging can be done from the microphone located at the Admin area of the building (where the touch panel is located) or from any remote microphone (see next section)  With a simple press of the “Microphone On” button any authorized user can begin an annoucement  A Chime can be sounded prior to any announcement  All systems can be one way (PA) or two way to allow teacher talk back from each classroom  Speakers are located in each classroom as well as in common zones (hallways, gyms, cafeteria, etc.) 15

Feature Overview: Remote Audio 16

Feature Overview: Remote Audio  Remote Audio allows you to connect any remote audio system into your PA system for broadcast to any predetermined location  Uses the same simple graphical interface for easy management of the system.  All Remote Inputs are set up for easy selection when needed  Common Use  Many schools today use Remote Audio Carts that allow them to broadcast from any location in the building  Allows morning announcements from different classrooms and broadcast from the cafeterias, auditoriums and other common use areas  Additional Common Uses include:  Remote Entry Points or Attendance Offices where someone may need to initiate a page  VNC connection to the system is needed with a microphone and an audio encoder at that location  Overflow meetings or Events (concerts, guest speakers, etc.)  Event Durations may be pre-set to fit schedules 17

Feature Overview: Background Music 18

Feature Overview: Background Music  Background Music allows you to connect audio sources for broadcast to any predetermined location  Uses the same simple graphical interface for easy management of the system.  Zones can be pre-set and are displayed for easy selection when needed  Multiple Audio Sources Available  AM / FM Tuner  CD Player  Digital Music Player (iPod, MP3 player etc.)  Device Controls Available  Touch panel interfaces for device control are available for tuner and CD player options to support play, pause, stop, CD selection, tuner control, etc. 19

Feature : Security Camera Interface 20

Feature: Security Camera Interface  Ties into your existing security camera network of Motion JPEG Cameras  Allows your system to go from Reactive (“Who Threw the First Punch”) to Proactive so you can prevent problems before they start  Camera feeds are available on the Admin Touch Panel interface at all times but also have a dedicated page in the system  Camera feeds can be viewed full screen, quad views, or in the normal view allowing you to move camera to camera simply and quickly  Pan and Tilt features can be used if the cameras are equipped with those features  Linking to cameras to add them to your system only involves knowing the IP Address of the camera  Camera feeds are also fed to your mobile Admin interface (iPad or Android) so you can see what is happening in your school as you move around it 21

The Security “Why” Question One of the most common questions we get is, “Why do you include the security camera interface in your Bell and PA option?” The answer is simple. At AMX we feel security is the number one responsibility that we all have when managing our schools. We have a responsibility to protect our children and we should use the technology we have in place to assist in that process. We believe you should also be able to see what is happening on your campus so that you can use your PA system to immediately communicate to all students and staff. So we believe the better question is, “Why Not include the Security Camera Interface?” 22

Mobile School Management The SchoolView solution offers an application for purchase that allows a customer to mirror their Administration Touch Panel on an iPad or Android device Allows control over the Bell & PA Solution from anywhere in the building Uses the wireless network of the school All functions that are supported in the installed system are also supported from the iPad or Android device The User Interface on the mobile device is exactly the same as the installed system so there is no new interface to learn See and communicate from anywhere on your campus! Up to three mobile devices per school 23

Summary of SchoolView Bell & PA  A complete Bell & PA Solution on a single IP network with a simple graphical interface  Built around the Audio Only Software which includes:  Bell  Clock  PA / Intercom System  Remote Audio Broadcast  Background Music  Security Camera Interface  Enhanced Telephone Interface for remote management  Custom map of each school for simple zone management  Upgrade system from one way to two way with simple firmware upgrade 24

A Scalable, Affordable, & Future Proof Solution  No rip and replace as you move from the classroom up to an entire building solution  In many cases take advantage of equipment you’ve already purchased  Use many types of funding to pay for part or all of the solution  Network based, standard cable, multi-signal types, flexible for future technology development  A dedicated system that is designed to run in the best and worst of times…designed for the most important buildings in the world  Free Lifetime Annual Software Upgrades
