3. 2009 FLAP Grant to develop a Content-Related & Media-Based FLES program for the languages of Japanese & Mandarin Chinese State funds will be applied to simultaneously develop French & Spanish versions. 6. Adapt Best Practice to Media-Based Model Each program episode will be designed to be implemented during a thirty minute period. Three episodes will be presented each week. Trained classroom facilitators will lead the students through interactive learning activities that seek to address established learning targets. Ongoing formative student self-assessment and cumulative assessment will be administered.
