2. Step 1: Register (or if you have an ID, just login) or login with Linked In

3. Step 2: Select at least 1 company name (you can have 3) - Click the +Add bar

4. Step 3: Type in the name or the ticker symbol of the company you want, and click on the name when it appears in the list

5. Step 4: Microsoft is my first company. Now Click +Add to add more, or just continue

7. Step 5: Now ready to analyze these three companies, or click on the names again to change to a new company - Once a company is active, select any choice on the Dashboard

8. Step 6: Select Company Info to see a capsule of company information -You can move from one company to another easily. Here’s Microsoft - The Business Description and real-time Twitter feed of all Company-related comments are available

9. Company Information is selected by clicking on the Symbol tab -You can move from one company to another easily. Here’s Google -Click the next tab for Apple

10. Step 7: Select People to see company executives - Use the tabs across the top to select different companies

11. Step 8: Select Stock Quote to see real-time quote data

12. Step 9: Select FINANCIALS to start detailed analyses -Chose any of the financial criteria to answer your questions -Select Quarterly - Annual Results, and the report will appear Run the mouse over each criteria for a definition of what it is

13. Step 10: Here’s the report from the criteria selected -You can also select Historical Ratios, Financial Data and Ratios Combined, Financial Statements, Current Pricing Data and Segment Data

14. Step 11: Select SCENARIOS for pre-formatted financial analysis templates -Choose from Financial Outlook, Competitive Intelligence, M&A or SWOT -The criteria are pre-loaded.

15. Step 12: Select FOOTNOTES for key items from the company’s financial filings which contain significant additional material about specific items Available through 9W’s Plus subscription

16. Use Email, Printout, or Share using the bottom tool bar -Output the report in Excel or PDF format – -Compile as many companies as needed and analyze with Excel -Share the results through email, Linked In, Facebook, and Twitter Excel & PDF (available through 9W’s Plus subscription) Social Media & email (available through 9W’s Plus subscription)
