2 Prenatal Health A mother’s lifestyle choices during pregnancy affect her child’s health and abilities for life. Healthful practices during pregnancy lead to healthy babies and healthy adults: exercise, regular sleep, doctor check-ups, good diet. No alcohol, drugs or tobacco which can lead to various developmental disorders.
