5 5 Goals and achievements Cultivation and management of ecosystem Reduction of the biomass and simultaneously of the risk of forest fires Resin production and by-products Development of nature awareness spirit and ecological sensitization, by making people and their social surroundings, approach the natural wealth of forests Improvement of human accessibility to forest areas and promotion of the benefits that nature has to offer to humanity.

Over the last years techniques and means of resin collection are ever improving.

Implementation of a workshop for stakeholders and representatives of relevant with the forest protection matters departments of the Region in order to exchange knowledge and aspects. Preparation of the managing plan related to the establishment of a ‘Forestry Cooperative Workmanship’

Professional workers and volunteers from the nearby area of the forests. The financing of the whole project of ‘tree tapping’ could be sponsored by the money the ‘Forestry Cooperative Workmanship’ will gain while selling the resin.
