7. Underlying responsibilities: Health and Safety Tutors – and volunters - have a duty to consider health and safety and the law in their management of the learning environment. They have a duty to preserve the health and safety of others as well as themselves.

8. Underlying responsibilities: Equality & Diversity Giving all learners the opportunity to attend and participate, regardless of their gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation and age.

9. Underlying responsibilities: Safeguarding As a volunteer, if you suspect that a learner is experiencing – or in danger of – mis-treatment of any kind (including bullying) you have a duty to report this to your mentor/manager. Who is?
