No Fault Exit Strategy  The strategy should be determined at the beginning of the program  It involves a mutual agreement, emphasized to both mentors and mentees  The agreement should specify that either party has the option of discontinuing the mentor relationship for any reason  The No Fault Exit Strategy should not be used as an excuse to avoid dealing with a difficult situation  Ensure that no blame is attached to either partner in a No Fault Exit

9. Alignment of Principal Performance Appraisal and Mentoring/Coaching Goals  All mentees are required to complete a Learning Plan  Individuals can adjust the Goals and Strategies within the Ministry template to the context of the Mentee Learning Plan
