2 Piranhas by Thomas Piranhas often use their teeth for weapons To catch their prey Piranhas live in oceans and rivers in South America And like to swim all day

3 Pythons by Joshua Pythons are snakes They don’t’ eat cakes They eat crocodiles and monkeys They don’t eat bees They’re very long And they cant sing a song But the can hiss And they don’t kiss They go in trees And it gives you the hee-bee-gee-bees!

4 Parrot by Lorelei I have a parrot who Likes to sit on a branch All day he likes to Catch his prey every day. They are so colorful.

5 Owls by Lance Owls come out at night They like the height They eat frogs, fish, rats, and mice I think they are pretty nice They can turn their head all the way around Hunting at night without making a sound Their wing span can be as big as a kite And they have a great might with their flight It’s daytime out comes the son And now we’re done

6 Vultures by Evan Vultures are large birds with pointed bills. Vultures fly 16 feet off the ground. Vultures have a 19 feet wing span. Vulture eat dead meat.

10 Deer by Jessica Deer eat leaves, flower, twigs, and long grass They are as fast as a cheetah Sometimes they have spots They have antlers and the antlers are very strong They have short hair

12 Dolphins by Lily Dolphins are so cute, their squeaks mean they are not mute. My favorite is when the smile and they swim mile after mile. The ocean is their home, jumping and playing in the foam.

15 King Cobra King Cobra by Erick He hisses and spits poison As he sits in a corner The deadly king cobra He’s waiting for you He slithers and slithers as he tries to get near The vicious king cobra He’s read to attack He swallows and gulps As he eats another (snake) The hungry king cobra He’s enjoying his meal

17 Sea Otters by Devyn Sea otters are very cute Sea otters live in the ocean When they swim they like to scoot Their skin is soft as lotion Sea otters have strong legs They like to swim on their backs They keep warm with their think thick fur They can be found in Canada and Russia Where the air is frigid

18 Sea Horses by Alaina Sea horses are bony fish They do not have scales Sea horses live in warm water They live in the ocean Sea horses have large eyes, a long snout, and a tail.

20 Penguins Little black and white bird that cannot fly Don’t worry little fella you are still a bird and that’s no lie You may not be able to soar through the sky But through the water you gracefully glide on by You slip and slide over mountains of ice and snow The way you move with poise and ease is quite a show Your blubber keeps you warm through the Antarctic winters when the temperatures plummet oh so low When the mother lays her egg she hands it off to the father then it’s time for her to go. The father tends to the egg so carefully with a loving heart. All huddled together with other penguin fathers they do not part. The way the father holds the egg gently on his feet for all those months is truly nature’s art. All the while the mother penguin is fattening up in the ice waters swimming like a dart.
