How this came to be 2009: General Board adopted the identity statement produced by the 21 st Century Visioning Team. 2012: Council on Christian Unity and Communication Ministries joined to work on ways to use the identity statement more broadly. 2013: Introduction of new materials at General Assembly in Orlando.
