Survey Research for CRP Sub-Region Feasibility Study Purpose and Objectives To examine awareness of regional transit concepts, and assess trip needs for residents of select communities located south of Calgary, if a service were established in the near future. Investigate factors involved with the implementation of a trial regional transit service among residents. Data Gathering Processes Representative Survey – A telephone survey conducted with 800 to 1,000 residents (~ 300 in Okotoks) using a random sampling to measure residents’ perceptions and behaviors about regional transit service and travel. Engagement Survey – A open-link online questionnaire will be developed to allow any resident in the region to provide their input into issues being examined in the feasibility study. Timing Fielding would begin around July 20 and be implemented for approximately two to three weeks.
