2 Some warning signs that social networking is not your thing If someone at church mentions the name Steve Jobs and you say, is that the new guys who sits in the 2 nd row. If you respond to someone who mentions wikipedia with, that is a great band! If you are worried about opening an e-mail because its coming from a hotmail account If your first reaction to hearing that a couple met online is to laugh. When someone asks if your profile is on facebook and you say, is that what we are now calling the church directory... of course I am in there. If someone in your church says... did you get my text? and you respond No, but what scripture were you wanting to use? If you have no idea why people are laughing when someone says, do you have an app for that but you laugh anyway If your IT guy ever says on the phone we have an I D 1 0 T problem over here. If your name starts with J and ends with im Talarico

My Calendar is on Microsoft Outlook I am on the internet often Tech Head Have a blog Communicate with people through facebook Texting is so much faster then calling I have an app for that

8 Practical – This Has to Stop! What is there e-mail address, phone #, can you change my number in the directory? Who is in that community group and when does it meet? Whatever happened to that guy? Lack of Tight Social Network at your church

9 Social Networking For All Old School Directory, Paper, Relational Contact Training on the basics of the internet Main Line Online Directory and calendar, E- mail merge, discussion boards Training on how to find people outside of their tight network Tech Head I-Phone App, Facebook group, blog postings etc. Training People, managing your social network.

10 A Helpful Communication Tool Online But Safe and Secure Helps everyone no matter what medium they use. Been used by St. Patricks and Rocky Mountain Pres. with success. If you are a church that is with little administration help, this can help you a ton.
