3  Develops nervous system, Fuels body  Three types:  Unsaturated fats (Healthy)  Saturated fats (Un-Healthy)  Trans fats (Un-Healthy)  Trans & saturated fats raise cholesterol  Sources: Dairy, Meat, Plant Foods

4  Builds and maintains muscles and tissues  Two Types  Complete (Contains all 9 essential amino acids)  Incomplete (lacks essential amino acids)  Amino acids build proteins  2 nd most plentiful substance in body  Sources: Meat & Alt, Dairy
