Make a fold in the first piece 3 ½ inches from the edge
Make a fold in the second sheet 4 inches from the edge
Insert the small sheet inside of the long sheet
Label each of the tabs with an important date from the chapter
Inside draw a picture and write a summary of
each event

3. Foldable Flipbook Fold one sheet of paper in ½ the long way
Cut four flaps into the front of the paper
On the front of each flap list an important person from the reading
Inside on the top of the flap draw a picture of the event
Inside on the sheet write 5 W’s about
that person (Who, what, when, where, why

4. Foldable Timeline Fold one piece of paper in ½ the short way
Cut along the fold
Fold each piece in ½ the short way
Tape the sheets together
On the front write the name of the event, a picture, and the date
On the back write the 5 w’s (who, what, when, where and why it is important)

5. Four Flap Book
Take one piece of paper and fold both ends towards the middle (the short way)
Cut down the middle of both flaps
On the front, write the name of an important person
Inside write a biography of the person
Each biography should be one paragraph
Write a second paragraph explaining why you chose that person

Draw a Venn diagram on the front – make sure it is large enough to fill the entire front
Cut 3 lines on the front

Fold a piece of paper in ½ the long way so that the top piece is longer
Cut three lines in the short piece
Draw a circle on each of the flaps you cut
Write the Main idea on the top
Write supporting details in the circles
On the back of each small flap draw a picture of the detail
Inside write a summary of the topic

9. Accordion Timeline Take a piece of paper
Make 3 accordion folds the short way
Write the name of the event, the date and a picture on the front of each flap
On the back make a summary of each event

10. Vocabulary Book
Fold a piece of notebook paper in ½ the long way. On one side (the one with no holes) cut every third line stopping at the fold.
Label the outside of the tabs with key terms
Write the definition under the tab
Illustrate the definition on the back of the uncut side of the paper
On the front (inside) of the uncut side use each word in a sentence
