Omni-Directional wheels roll forward like normal wheels, but slide sideways with almost no friction (no skidding during turns). Use these wheels to make your robot turn smoothly or build a holonomic drivetrain.

Shaft couplers are the same length as old VEX clutches, allowing 2- Wire Motors to be used in places that previously had a clutch without changing shaft length.
Makes replacing 3-Wire Motors quick and simple.
Placement between motor and drive shaft makes changing shafts easier.

The square shaft has rounded corners which allow it to spin easily in a round hole, while locking to a square hole.

18. VEX Parts - Motion Pillow Block Bearing & Lock Bar Pack
Bearing Blocks mount on a piece of structure and supports a shaft which is offset either above, below, or to the side of the structure. Lock Bars allow any VEX component to be “locked” to a shaft so that it will spin with the shaft.

19. VEX Parts - Motion Bearing Flat, Delrin (10-pack)
The Bearing Flat mounts directly on a piece of VEX structure and supports a shaft which runs perpendicular and directly through the structure.
Low friction allows shafts to turn smoothly.
Mount with Screws & Nuts or Pop Rivets

Collars lock to drive shafts, keeping wheels and gears from sliding along the shaft. Collars fit around Drive Shafts and can be fastened in place using a setscrew.
Designed specifically for the VEX Drive Shaft.
Set screw uses the same Allen Wrench as the 6-32 Motor Screws.

21. VEX Parts - Motion Washers (2-choices)
A washer is a thin disk with a hole used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener. All VEX washers fit on all VEX screws and VEX shafts.
Steel washers are a good all-purpose washer.
Teflon washers are low friction. Use on shafts where metal rubs on metal.
