2 Welcome The Association of Girl Scout Executive Staff (AGSES) is the only national professional organization maintained for the purpose of enhancing professional excellence for all employed (and formerly employed) Girl Scout staff. AGSES is an independent, voluntary association and is an active, working organization that encourages participation from every member. It serves as a nationwide voice for all Girl Scout staff.

10 Bylaws Revision: Major Changes Eliminated Executive Committee Written notice includes electronic methods Only one vice president Alternates terms Financial review rather than audit 60 day notice for various meetings dropped to 30 days

11 Take Vote on Bylaws We will launch a poll for voting (Yes, No, Abstain): I vote in favor of approving the proposed bylaws changes (with the proviso that the change in eliminating 2nd VP and reducing Nominating Committee to 5 would take effect at end of terms of 2015).

26 Professional Development Goal Statement To provide opportunities for active Girl Scout staff to engage in career-enhancing knowledge, exchange best practices, engage in cooperative learning and connect with colleagues. To provide opportunities for inactive Lifetime Members/Alumna to reconnect and support the ongoing work of the Association. Efforts will strengthen both AGSES and the Girl Scout Movement.

27 Plans for 2015 Recruit at least 6 people to form the professional development committee. Offer at least 18 learning opportunities for GS staff: – Colleague Conversations – various topics – Like-Job, Virtual Meet Ups – with a moderator – Use groups established on the website – Book Club – series – Mentoring opportunities Tuesday Tips Develop a plan to provide foundational learning for membership and volunteerism staff
