Metagally - 276 Houses d. Hanchya Sathgally Block 1 - 180 Houses e. Hanchya Sathgally Block 2 - 186 Houses Total 1266 Houses 4.Rehabilitation of 46 selected slums of Mysore city(2500 Houses) 90.93KSCB As per the SLEC meeting held on 25- 10-08,Tenders were finalized and the following pacakges were approved. a)Package II – 396 Houses b)Package III - 348 Houses c)Package VII – Providng Infrastructure to 5 slums. Out of 1244 houses, tenders have been called for 1000 houses on 20/12/08 for which land is awaited from Revenue department

Action is taken to Commence IEC activity. Tender documents are being finalised. Sector: Drainage 7Remodeling of storm water drain in Mysore (104.67km) 347.28MCCThe Project has been cleared in CSMC meeting held on 19/12/08. Privatization of valleys is in progress.

No. Name of the Project Appr cost Rs. in Crores Implementing Agency Status Sector: Roads 8.Upgrading 2 lane outer ring road to 6 lane along with service road from Mysore- Bangalore road to Mysore-Nanjungud road (0 to 25 km-western side ) and upgrading 4 laned outer ring road to 6 lane along with service road from Mysore-Bangalore road to Mysore-Bannur road (0 to 7.49 km – Eastern side) 219.03MUDA Approved by GOI on 15.02.08 in CSMC meeting. Central and State Govt,.share of Rs. 49.28 crores released vide Govt. order No. UDD 44 CSS 2007 dated 25-3-2008. Tender has been floated on 27-3-2008. Only one agency is qualified in Technical Bid and hence rejected by govt.,Retender is called for four packages on 17-09-2008. The same Notification has been Questioned in the Honourable High Court Vide W.P No: 13270 of 2008. The Honorable High Court has passed an interim order stating that all further proceedings pursuant to the Notification dated 17- 09.2008 will be subject to further order of this court. Further process on Notification is in Progress. Last date for receipt of bids 05/01/09 Sector: Others 9.Project Implementation Unit0.62MCC Public Health Engineer, Information Technology Officer and Human Resource Development officer have reported. Tender has been called for the remaining posts. Total 1120.72
