4 Past Tense Shows something that has happened in the past (including yesterday). Shows something that has happened in the past (including yesterday). Usually ends in –d or –ed. Usually ends in –d or –ed. –Ex: watch- watched love-loved If the verb ends in y, change the y to i and add –ed.
