3. Questions About Physician Density 1.The largest column in this graph is Russia. Russia is a developed country. I think this is because Russia may put more focus on healthcare for it’s citizens. Also, they may train more physicians in their country. The higher percentage of physicians per population may be a cultural reason as well. 2.The lowest column in this graph is Chad, Africa which is an undeveloped country. I think this is because it is a developing country and does not have the same resources as a developed country. Being a developing country it also does not have a lot of money to pay for the necessity of a doctor. 3.The 5 th and 6 th ranked countries on my graph are Canada and China. These countries are both developed. I think Canada was ranked 5 th out of the 10 countries I picked for my graph because I picked many high ranked Physician Density countries. For example Russia and the U.S. both have higher rates than Canada so this moved Canada down in the ranking by 2 places. So, in conclusion I think it was not because of the way Canada is but just by which countries I put it up against. I think that China was ranked 6 th in my graph because it may be developed but there are many parts in China that are undeveloped so this would leave them in the 6 th ranking. 4.The 7 th and 8 th ranked countries in my graph are Peru and Haiti. These countries are both developing. I think Peru is ranked 7 th place and Haiti ranked 8 th, on my graph because they are so undeveloped that it does not have enough money like the developed countries. Also, it could be because there are not enough medical schools in these countries for there to be a large amount of Physicians. In order to get into the top half, Haiti and Peru would need to become developed countries with higher populations, and get more schools for their children to go to if they decide they want to be Physicians. 5.One country that stood out to me on my graph was Egypt, it is undeveloped. It has a huge impact on our World Consumption of Oil. They consume more oil than Haiti and Chad combined. Even though they may not be taking as much as developed countries they are still taking more than need be. According to my research I have done last year in Capstone, Egypt only needs three fourths of the oil they are using. So, they could be helping World Oil Consumption go down by a small percent but instead are using oil that they do not “need” but “want”.

5. Questions About Population 1.The largest column in this graph is China. I think this is because China it is an old civilization driven by agriculture that has a lot of rainfall and a good place to grow crops. This agricultural production helps promote population growth. 2.The lowest column in this graph is Haiti. Haiti is a very small island, which means it has limited space for population. Also, Haiti is very rough and mountainous which makes it very hard to grow crops and other resources that may be useful. 3.The 5 th and 6 th ranked columns are Japan and Egypt. Japan being developed may be ranked as 5 th because it is a island and it is mostly rugged and mountainous. Also, it has a slow population growth rate. Since Egypt is undeveloped it may not have as many resources as the developed countries which may cause less people to want to live there. In addition, there is not great climate for agriculture and farming. 4.The 7 th and 8 th ranked countries are Canada and Peru. Peru being an undeveloped country has a very small population growth rate which is 1.016%. They rank 115 in the world for population growth rate. In order to get to the top half they would have to get there population growth rate to a sustainable amount so they can grow at a faster rate. Canada being a developed country may have a high population but compared to these countries has a very low population. In order to get into the top half of my graph I may half to compare Canada to different countries. 5.One country that stood out on my graph was China. It is affecting World Consumption because of it’s large population. Its large population ensures a large amount of production and consumption within the country. China surely affects World consumption heavily.

7. Questions Internet Users 1.The largest column in my graph is China, a developed country. I think that China is the largest column because it has the largest population and the urban areas have many computers that have access to the internet. Along with the large population, China has 47% urban areas which means there is not much more rural areas than urban. So, there must be many internet users within the urban areas. 2.The smallest column on my graph is Chad, a developing country. I think that Chad has the smallest column because of it’s small population. It’s small population could have an affect on it’s internet users because without many people there would be less people using the internet. Also, the country is very poor and may not have the money for a luxury such as the Internet. 3.Russia and Canada are the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries in my graph. Russia is a developing country and has a population of about 140,000,000. Russia’s population is not very large compared to most of the countries on my graph so it will also have a small amount of internet users compared to the countries on my graph. Canada is a developed country in which might have a larger rural population in where they do not need access to the internet. 4.Peru and Egypt are the 7 th and 8 th ranked on my graph. I think that Peru being an undeveloped country may have not believe that everything needs to revolve around technology and does not have as many computers as the developed countries. Egypt being an undeveloped country and having a small population may not have the need for the internet or other technology. 5.One country that stood out on my graph was the U.K. Even though it is may not affect the World Consumption greatly it still has an impact because of it’s great population. The population is so great that it places 22 nd in the world, this means more consumers and more consumption.
