Publications and Other Member Benefits Member-only access to SIGSIM M&S Knowledge Repository WSC Proceedings (CD) mailed to each SIGSIM member PADS Proceedings (hard copy) mailed to each SIGSIM member Discounted conference attendance fees for SIGSIM members for many conferences including WSC and PADS. SIGSIM members are granted full on-line access to the proceedings of the SIGSIM sponsored / supported conferences in the ACM Digital Library.
Past and Future Challenges SIGSIM did not have a publication since July 1998, which caused membership to drop significantly. We founded SIGSIM M&S Knowledge Repository (MSKR) www.acm-sigsim-mskr.org with the objective of creating a multimedia knowledge base on Modeling and Simulation (M&S) that would a)be an asset for ACM, b)be an excellent source of knowledge for M&S professionals, educators, and students, and c)significantly help increase the SIGSIM membership. Initial MSKR version was created in December 2008 thru March 2009 and it is officially announced in March 2009. We plan to expand the scope of SIGSIM to all kinds of M&S. We are celebrating 40 th birthday of SIGSIM founded in April 1969.
