Success Stories This is Anya Benner. She is 8. This year she went to School #67 in Voronezh together with her friends. The schools, of course, prepared to accept the girl, they furnished an innovational center on inclusive education and thoroughly studied Inclusive Education Guidelines. In this photo Anya is the winner of the creative festival Among Friends. Being among friends may be the most important thing in life! And for that education needs to be inclusive!
The first inclusive school in Buryatia welcomed its students on September 1
On September 1, 2011 Talalikhin School #480 opened its door for all children without any exceptions. Diana Goryacheva, a wheelchair user, went to the first class in this school
Use a comprehensive approach Portray positive images of children in the community PWDs and parents of PWDs must play a key role in impacting social change Provide a useful service for schools, parents and CWDs Need a skilled cadre of disability and parent activists or you must build this capacity Important to have advocacy tools to share Organize national events to build and maintain network
