9 Objectives  Increase the number of faculty/administrators who have training in entrepreneurialism and developing business plans  Develop and implement at least one new innovative model of clinical education  Develop and implement at least two new innovative/entrepreneurial initiatives in any of the 3 mission areas within the next 2 years  Develop and implement at least one global outreach initiative in the next 3 years

10 Goal #3 Faculty and staff will be recognized by stake holders as motivated, consumer oriented, and talented/ professionally prepared

11 Objectives  Develop and implement a CHP Faculty Mentorship plan by July 1, 2011  Enhance the leadership skills of faculty/CHP leaders  Prioritize resources to promote professional development  Consciously move forward with MUSC’s theme “changing what’s possible” in all marketing materials

15 Objectives  Educate the students, staff and faculty on the opportunities and challenges associated with health care reform  Increase our knowledge of and participation in comparative effectiveness research to demonstrate the value of our professions within various health care delivery models  Develop partnerships locally and across the country to maximize the utilization of our professions in new models of health care delivery in SC

16 Goal #7 Develop and implement a diversity plan to ensure that the students and faculty reflect the communities in which we serve
