Slide 4 Session Segments Presentation Ann will introduce the new vendor field in SAPs Shopping Cart, and explain how it will impact the creation of carts. Slide 9 Poll the Audience Please select the response that most appropriately applies to you. a.I place orders in Shopping Cart on a regular basis. b.I place orders in Shopping Cart a few times a month. c.I place orders in Shopping Cart every so often. d.I am new to Shopping Cart and have never placed an order.
Slide 10 Shopping Cart Vendor Field Adding the vendor to a cart can now be done in the General Data section. The process of searching for a vendor is exactly the same as the line item vendor search. Applies the vendor to every line item in the cart. Prevents splitting of carts into multiple POs.
Slide 11 Warnings! Only used for free text orders. NOT used for any eMarketplace order. NOT used for any Supply Store orders. NOT available for RADP, ANPO or DRUG document types. Modifying the vendor in the General Data section after adding items to your cart will not update and will not apply to those already existing items.
Slide 12 Lets Take A Look 1. Create a cart like you would start any cart.
Slide 13 General Data Section 2. Edit Name of Shopping Cart, Default Settings, etc. 3. Search for the vendor where it says Shopping Cart Vendor or type in the vendor number.
Slide 14 Vendor Search 4. Click the search icon. 5. Type the name of the vendor in the Vendor Name field. -Dont forget to use *asterisks* 6. Click Start Search.
Slide 15 If These Search Fields Do Not Appear Check what is listed under More Search Helps. Supplier should be selected.
Slide 17 Add Items 8. Verify that is the vendor you selected.
Slide 18 Add Items 9. Add items to your cart in the Item Overview. 10. Click the Order button once your cart is ready to be submitted.
